“BURN OUT” is always displayed even though a thermocouple is connected.

Remove the thermocouple from the relevant channel and try short-circuiting between the + and – terminals with a short conductor. If the display shows room temperature (*) after short-circuiting, the thermocouple is disconnected. If “BURN OUT” is still displayed at all times, the main unit may be malfunctioning.

When “Room Temp.” is set to “External”, approximately 0°C is displayed.
