Notice Regarding Forced Termination During Printing in Cutting Software (Graphtec Studio 2 Windows Ver.1.10.36 or earlier)

Thank you for your continued support and for using our products.

We have received reports that, under certain conditions, Graphtec Studio 2 (hereafter referred to as “GS2”) Ver.1.10.36 or earlier may close unexpectedly when a print operation is executed.

Our investigation suggests that this behavior may be related to situations in which the printer name is not processed correctly by the operating system.

Temporary Workaround

Please shorten the printer name in the printer driver settings.

Guideline: Set the printer name to 30 characters or less, including spaces.

1. Open the File menu and select Print.
2. Right‑click the printer you want to rename.
3. Select Rename, then enter the new printer name.

Current Status

We are currently working on an update to ensure that GS2 does not terminate unexpectedly even when long printer names are used.

Details regarding the release schedule of the updated version will be announced once finalized.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this issue may cause.

Until the fix is completed, we kindly ask that you use the workaround described above.
